Black Cat Bone plays Chicago and
Delta-style blues with an infectious energy. Every performance mixes
the music of classic artists such as Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon,
Elmore James and Howlin’ Wolf with contemporary blues tunes.
The band’s passion for the music lifts audiences
to their feet to sing, dance and shout the blues.
Ben Moore (vocals/guitar/harp)
is a native of Southern Delaware. Finding his muse at an early age,
Ben traces his roots to John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Mississippi
John Hurt and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Ben brings you the blues in its
simplest form, a style that takes you back to where it all began.
Tom Fante (5-string bass/vocals)
provides the foundation for the band. He also has toured the United
States and the Caribbean with such artists as The Little El Show,
Alter Ego, Honest John and Second Chance Blues. Tom’s influences
range from B.B. King to Robben Ford.
Mike Pappas (keyboards)
fuses jazz with the blues, bringing a unique influence to the band.
In addition to Black Cat Bone, Mike is currently working on his own
project that blends jazz, hip-hop and traditional funk.
Jim Drnec (drums/vocals)
has also played drums for Horsepower (Island), Tangier (Atco),
Cinderella (Mercury/Polygram), and many others on both the East and
West coasts.
